Owners often spend enormous amounts of time to decorate their indoors, too, so why not outside? What some people do not realize is that there are almost as many products available outside the home as there is for the interior. Whether outdoor furniture, lighting, or floor, you can find many outdoor products to beautify your garden. Part of the court that is often overlooked is the floor. The owners often leave their bare concrete floors just the way they are not aware of infinite possibilities. A surprisingly effective way to add style to the concrete floor is tiled exterior. tile exterior is similar to the tile inside, except it is more resistant to weathering and wear. To create a section of tile outside, you will need several things, including but not limited to: band of mortar, grout, tiles, tile cutters, measuring, and a spatula. You must first determine how many tiles you need. To do this, measure the area of the section tiles. To do this, take a tape measure and run along each edge, noting the lengths. If the area is square or rectangular, all you have to do is to multiply the feet of one side to the adjacent side. To determine how many tiles you need, divide the square footage of the area of tile you have selected. For example, if you’ve selected the tiles with an area of 1 square foot, a floor of 500 square feet would require 500 tiles. I recommend the purchase tiles at least 10% more than you need to account for breakage and cutting.

Chances are the tiles are not perfectly aligned with the ground, perhaps to come up short or overshoot the edges. In these cases, a tile cutter is required to cut tiles at the edge of fitness. Beginning at one end of the floor, begins to spread your mortar mix with your spatula. Immediately found a tile down, taking care to keep the tile spacing equal to the aid of a brace of tiles. Continue laying the tiles and mortar until the whole territory is covered, taking care to cut the tiles into shape if necessary. Then it’s time to fill the gaps with mortar, making sure you apply it evenly. As you go, wipe the top of the tiles with a damp cloth to remove excess. Once dry, followed by a more thorough cleaning until all fogginess has been deleted. Apply a grout sealer to protect the long term.
